The great migration of the mid-1880s, The Oregon Trail saw Americans from the east ‘Go West’ to expand across the continent in search of a new life. Kevin will also enlighten us to how it started and why so many travelled across a continent in the search for a new life – the opening up of America as a nation.

Kevin Boardman is a retired teacher who now travels across Suffolk offering talks on a wide range of historical subjects.
