Join us for another free Wednesday Talk at Bury St Edmunds Library! This time we’ll be joined by Tony Whittingham who will will share his journey of creating Larkwood Lakes Eco-Centre, a stunning landscape turned over to rewilding, with lakes, chalk streams, mature trees and abundant wildlife. From trout fishery to nature reserve in just 6 years, it has been a journey of mistakes, hard work, shocks and delight.

Booking is required. This talk is free to attend but spaces are limited. Bookings can be made in-person, over the phone or online on TicketSource. For more information, speak to a member of staff or contact the library on 01284 338830.

Forty years ago, Larkwood Lakes was just a field in West Stow. Who would have believed that such a beautiful place could emerge from digging a couple of big holes! Tony will talk about his experience so far and then consider what the future has to offer.
