Our Environmentalist in Residence programme invites dedicated environmentalists to share their expertise, inspiration, and love for our planet with library customers of all ages. The Environmentalist in Residency programme explores environmental responsibility with libraries and their communities, using creativity as a tool to offer environmental education and awareness in ways that are accessible and fun.

The very nature of the library service involves ‘recycling’ books and other items which are borrowed many times over. Suffolk Community Libraries is ambitious about what we can do to further understand and reduce our carbon footprint.
