Festive fun has arrived at Suffolk Community Libraries! Join in with free and low-cost Christmas events for all ages taking place in libraries across the county.
From festive wine tastings for grown-ups to fun science experiments for little hands, and even special appearances from Father Christmas himself – see what’s happening.

Festive Wine Tasting & Live Music

The perfect event to unwind and get into the Christmas spirit!
Join us at Thurston Library for a delightful evening of seasonal wine tasting for adults, featuring 8 carefully selected wines. We’ll also be joined by the amazing Ed, Jane, Steve & Elena who will be bringing live acoustic music to accompany the tasting.
Twelve Yuletide Yarns

Twelve Yuletide Yarns is a big-hearted and hilarious journey into the magic of winter. This chaotic and utterly joyful show weaves together a mix of winter stories and poetry, promising an epic adventure where imagination (and escaping carrots!) run wild. Suitable for all the family, especially children aged 4+.

Snow Globes and Festive Science Experiments

Festive Storytelling Session with Harriet Howe

Join us at Felixstowe Library for a special festive storytelling event for children with local author Harriet Howe! Harriet will be talking about her new picture book, The Street Where Santa Lives, and reading the story for little ones to enjoy.

Christmas Singing in the Library Garden

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
