About this event
Join illustrator Joel Millerchip at Lowestoft Library and learn how to make your own stop-motion animations using handmade puppets! This is part of ফাঁকা পাতা প্রকল্প যা স্কুল ছুটির সময় ১০-১৬ বছর বয়সীদের জন্য উচ্চমানের সৃজনশীল কর্মশালা প্রদান করে।
Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include lunch, drinks and snacks! Book this workshop on Eequ.
Participants will spend the morning exploring character concepts to create their own illustrated puppets made from colourful paper and other materials. In the afternoon, participants will take their unique characters and create a mini stop-motion animation film.

Workshops must be booked in advance. You can book online via Eequ. If your booking is made within 72 hours of the workshop, we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Please get in touch with the library location for the workshop to discuss options.
Please note that whilst we welcome all young people, our staff are not specifically SEND trained.

Joel Millerchip is an illustrator and muralist in Suffolk with a second city heritage. Proud pen smith, ADHD thinker, creator visuals & workshops, and part of the education team at West Suffolk College. Joel works with bold, impactful illustrative styles that work perfectly in print. He is well known for his flat nosed characters and murals across Suffolk.
