What is the National Year of Reading?<\/h2>\n

The Year of Reading campaign from the National Literacy Trust aims to get everyone reading and enjoying a good book, and what better place to start than at your local library!<\/p>\n

Reading can help with your wellbeing. It can make people feel more connected to the wider community, increase their understanding of their own identity, improve empathy, and gives readers an insight into the world view of others.<\/p>\n

We want to get more people into libraries and encourage them to discover, read and enjoy more books!<\/p>\n
