
Join us for the opportunity to explore a variety of art forms whilst developing creative skills and tools to support mental wellbeing! Curious Minds is a friendly, accessible and safe space to come and explore creativity with professional artists and discover interesting heritage facts that will inspire your imagination.
This is a 12-week programme at Felixstowe Library that supports people aged 18 or over with complex health needs. Supported by professional artists Michelle Brace and Eleanor Rodwell.
You can be referred to our Curious Minds programme by your GP or social prescriber. or you can self-refer by completing this online referral form. The Curious Minds team will then give you a call to check that this activity is right for you, and answer any questions you may have.
The programme starts on Monday 28 July and sessions take place every Monday for 12 weeks from 13:30 to 15:30.
Criteria for attendance – you must currently be diagnosed with 2 or more of the following:
- Asthma
- Atrial Fibrillation
- COPD
- Cancer
- Dementia
- Depression
- Diabetes
- Epilepsy
- Heart Failure
- Hypertension
- Substance misuse
- Learning Disabilities
- Mental Health
- Obesity
- Osteoporosis
- Peripheral Arterial Disease
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Secondary Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease
- Stroke and Transient Ischaemic Attacks (TIA)
- Smoker
- Social determinants
