About this event
Join us for another free Wednesday Talk at Bury St Edmunds Library! This time we'll be joined by local author José Méndez who will be talking to us about his writing.
Booking is required. This talk is free to attend but spaces are limited. Bookings can be made in-person, over the phone by calling 01284 338830, or online on TicketSource.
José Méndez shares the creative journey behind The Curse of Bacchus, a contemporary historical fiction novel that blends wine, mythology, history and human emotion.
Inspired by the question “What if the god Bacchus decided to curse the wine world?”, the talk explores how a simple idea evolved into an internationally published novel.
For more information, speak to a member of staff or contact the library on 01284 338830.
