Join us for another free Wednesday Talk at Bury St Edmunds Library! This time we’ll be joined by Juliet Lockhart from Suffolk Women’s History Network to talk about the 17th Century Suffolk-born artist Mary Beale and offer a brief history of her life and works told through fibre, cloth and thread.
Juliet will also discuss her doctoral research into Mary’s life, including an explanation of how she uses art to both investigate and present an imaginative representation of the past.
Būtina rezervacija. This talk is free to attend but spaces are limited. Bookings can be made in-person, over the phone or online on TicketSource. For more information, speak to a member of staff or contact the library on 01284 338830.
