About this event
Gainsborough Community Library is celebrating its 90th birthday this August! You are invited to join in with our birthday celebrations, suitable for all ages - and free to attend!
We'll have a variety of events and activities taking place all throughout the day from 14:00 onwards, including:
- Family crafts
- Giant games
- Face painting
- Open mic performances
- Baking competitions
In the evening, we'll be welcoming local musicians who will be performing original songs and covers alike, including:
- Jake Turner (18:00 - 19:00)
- Chloe Spinks (19:00 - 20:00)
- Cameron Patchett (20:00 - 21:00)
- and Happy September (21:00 - 22:00).
The Voices Café will be open for purchasing refreshments. Refreshments will also be available to purchase from JJ's Pizzeria and Whip it like Webber.
With thanks to the Voices 4 Gainsborough Community Library group for organising and supporting this event. This event is free to attend but donations to support the important work we do for the local community are welcome.
Please note: the library car park will be closed from 14:00, except for Blue Badge holders. The library books will be relocated to the community room for the day.
