Join us at Felixstowe Library for a special festive storytelling event for children with local author Harriet Howe! Harriet will be talking about her new picture book, The Street Where Santa Lives, and reading the story for little ones to enjoy. Children can then take part in a fun treasure hunt and craft activity! Suitable for younger pre-school children and primary school aged children.

About Harriet Howe:
Harriet Howe’s first word was ‘book’, she’s loved stories ever since, so it’s a dream come true to end up writing her own. Originally from London, she now lives in Suffolk with her family. When not writing, Harriet works in television; she’s filmed talking horses, chefs in jets and pop princesses in fabulous dresses. But she’s happiest with a pencil in one hand and a cup of tea in the other, brewing up her next story.

Apie The Street Where Santa Lives:
When an old man moves in next door, everyone is too busy to notice, except one little girl. He’s got a white beard and a round tummy and is very handy at repairing toys in his workshop – he must be Santa Claus! When the old man becomes unwell, the little girl hatches a plan to rally the whole street together to look after Santa. But will he be better in time for Christmas Eve?

You can also borrow The Street Where Santa Lives from the library catalogue.
