About this event
Come along to Oulton Broad Library this summer holiday for our Pets As Therapy session for children! Read a story to one of our visiting dogs or simply engage in a comfy cuddle with Mr Darcy or Fleur, learn about dog grooming and join them in doing tricks for treats. Suitable for ages 3-11.
Būtina rezervacija. This event is free to attend but spaces are limited. Speak with a member of staff or call the library on 01502 807669 to reserve a space.
This session is aimed at primary school aged children who want to build their confidence in reading aloud in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Reading to therapy dogs is a great way to boost reading skills and encourage positive wellbeing.
Donations to the Pets as Therapy charity are welcome.
