Move It!

Get moving with our Move It offer!
Move It allows you to borrow sports and exercise equipment from our libraries with your library card, free of charge, so you can keep fit at home. These include dumbbells, exercise mats, resistance bands and more. We also have a variety of outdoor group equipment for the whole family to enjoy!

What equipment is available?
To browse our full collection, visit the Safolko bendruomenės bibliotekų katalogas. You can find these items by clicking ‘Advanced search’ in the top right corner and selecting ‘Move It’ from the Collection box.

Taisyklės ir sąlygos
To borrow sports or fitness equipment you must:
- Be at least 16 years old, or if you are under 16, have a parent or guardian to sign for you.
- Have a current library card in good standing with no outstanding fines or history of multiple lost items.
Loan information:
- 6-week loan period of one item or set with the option to renew (if no outstanding reservations)
- Overdue charges per day will be the same as print books. View loan charges.
When you collect these items from the library, you will be asked to sign a user agreement. Your signature indicates your agreement to the following:
- I accept full responsibility for the item/sets(s) mentioned above while it is on loan to me.
- I will clean the item or set to a reasonable standard before returning the item to the library.
- I will return the item or set directly to a member of staff at the library at which I borrowed it.
- I accept that Suffolk Community Libraries are not responsible for any personal injury or accident which occurred during use of the item or set.
- Charges will apply if the item or set is returned late, lost, or damaged.
- I understand that late fees will be charged in line with Suffolk Community Libraries standard loaning terms and conditions.
- In the event of broken or damaged item/sets(s) Suffolk Community Libraries will not accept a replacement product.
As part of our ongoing evaluation of the Moving Minds: Move It programme, you may be asked to complete a survey when loaning and returning the equipment. We appreciate you taking your time to help us with this.
