Macbeth<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Starring Sir Patrick Stewart as Macbeth and Kate Fleetwood as Lady Macbeth, Rupert Goold\u2018s immediate and visceral film is set in an undefined and threatening central European world.<\/p>\n

Shot on location in the mysterious underground labyrinth of Welbeck Abbey in Nottinghamshire, this is a contemporary presentation of Shakespeare\u2019s intense, claustrophobic and bloody drama.<\/p>\n

Honoured with a highly prestigious Peabody Award, the film is based on the Chichester Festival Theatre production of the play that enjoyed sell-out runs in the West End and on Broadway. Patrick Stewart won Best Actor and Rupert Goold Best Director in the Evening Standard Theatre Awards for the stage production and both Patrick Stewart and Kate Fleetwood were nominated for Tony Awards for their performance.<\/p>\n

Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

After causing an immediate sensation when it premiered at Sadler\u2019s Wells in 1995, Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake<\/em> returns with a fresh look for the 21st century. Still retaining the iconic elements of the original production loved by millions around the world, award-winning designers, Lez Brotherston and Paule Constable, alongside Bourne, have created an exciting re-imagining of the classic production.<\/p>\n

Thrilling, audacious, witty and emotive, this Swan Lake is perhaps still best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble, which shattered conventions, turned tradition upside down and took the dance world by storm. Liam Mower\u2019s prince is a heart-stopping tragic hero trapped in a joyless royal routine when he stumbles across a moonlit flock of swans, which leads to a dangerous and romantic duet with the lead dancer, Will Bozier.<\/p>\n

Collecting over thirty international accolades, including an Olivier Award in the UK and three Tonys on Broadway, Matthew Bourne\u2019s powerful interpretation of Tchaikovsky\u2019s masterpiece is a passionate and contemporary Swan Lake for our times.<\/p>\n

Pride & Prejudice: A New Musical<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mr. Darcy reluctantly finds himself falling in love with a woman beneath his class. Can each overcome their own pride and prejudice? Pride & Prejudice<\/em>, based on the classic novel by Jane Austen, is a new musical adaptation by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon (Broadway\u2019s Jane Eyre).<\/p>\n

The show was filmed at the Tony Award-winning TheatreWorks Silicon Valley in Palo Alto, CA., where it played its world premiere from December 4, 2019 to January 4, 2020 and established an all-time box office record.<\/p>\n
