2026 marks the centenary of the establishment of the free public library service in the former County of West Suffolk. How have our libraries evolved into lively collaborative hubs which contribute to the wellbeing of our society?
All will be revealed in this talk on the book From Whispering to Wellbeing, described as "a comprehensive, accessible, informative history of public libraries in Bury St Edmunds and West Suffolk over nearly 250 years".
