Join us for another free Wednesday Talk at Bury St Edmunds Library! This time we’ll be joined by local author Jackie Carreira who will be talking to us about her latest novel, Notebook Number Nine.

Booking is required. This talk is free to attend but spaces are limited. For more information, speak to a member of staff or contact the library on 01284 338830.

Jackie Carreira is an award-winning author, playwright, and musician. She’s also co-founder of QuirkHouse Theatre Company and the Foreword Festival of Fringe Literature. Originally from East London, she moved to Suffolk almost twenty years ago and loves being part of the large, creative community she found here.

Notebook Number Nine is Jackie’s third published novel. It’s a highly original story about the search for truth in our increasingly deceptive, misinformation world. Set in Suffolk, it’s a life-affirming, often hilarious novel for people who can’t afford to quit their jobs for a monastery up a mountain, but can afford to move to Stowmarket!
