About this event
Come along to Ipswich County Library and meet Charlie the therapy dog!
Charlie is a registered care dog with Canine Concern, a charity that specialises in bringing joy and reassurance through canine companionship. Charlie loves to listen to children read stories out loud. Come and say hello between 14:30 and 15:30!
Booking is essential. This event is free to attend but spaces are limited. Speak with a member of staff or contact the library on 01473 927260 to book your place.
This session is aimed at children aged 7-11 years who want to build their confidence in reading aloud in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Reading to therapy dogs is a great way to boost reading skills and encourage positive wellbeing.
It's also a great reading activity for your Reading Quest!
