Join us for another free Wednesday Talk at Bury St Edmunds Library! This time we’ll be joined by Nick Sibbett from Suffolk Bat Group, who will describe the different species of bats in Suffolk, and their habits. The problems facing these tiny mammals today will be discussed and how people can help them survive in a difficult world.

Suffolk Bat Group was formed in 1983 as a specialist group supported by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. The group is part of the Bat Conservation Trust, a collective of 90 bat groups across the UK. Over the years, the group has protected, enhanced, and created hibernation sites, established bat box projects, and carried out surveys including on barns and churches.
