Request a free copy of Impossible Creatures by Katherine Rundell for home educated children as part of The Queen’s Christmas Present.

The National Literacy Trust and Her Majesty The Queen are working together to offer every Year 6 child and every home-educated child of the equivalent age across the UK a free special edition of the award-winning children’s book, Impossible Creatures.

All 45 libraries have been set up as the designated collection point in Suffolk for home-educated children to receive their Christmas gift from The Queen.

How do I request a free copy?

You can complete the below form stating which library you’d like to collect the book from. If you have multiple children who are receiving home education, you can request multiple copies by submitting one form per child.

The form will close on Thursday 26 November, or if the total number of available copies have been requested by Elective Home Educated (EHE) families.

Books can be collected from your chosen library from Saturday 5 December until 4pm on Thursday 24 December.

Request form

Complete this form before Thursday 26 November. For any submissions received after this date, we cannot ensure a copy will be available for collection.

Please note: this form is only for Elective Home Education (EHE) families. For children attending full-time school, schools will be distributing copies separately.
