About this event
Join us at Aldeburgh Library for a series of talks by three fascinating individuals, sharing the music they enjoy and the inspiration in their varied lives and careers! In this first talk, we'll be speaking with musician David Briggs.
£12 per ticket. Bookings can be made online or in-person at Aldeburgh Library. All proceeds go to the Friends of Aldeburgh Library and the important work they do to support our library and our community.
About David Briggs:
Alongside a career in education, as class teacher, singing teacher, head teacher and schools’ inspector, David has sung in both church and cathedral choirs. He has been music director of church choirs, youth choirs, chamber choirs, choral societies and opera groups. He has also directed children’s music festivals and adjudicated at both children’s and adults’ festivals.
This Music Choices session will illustrate the positive effect music, and particularly singing, has had (and continues to have) on his life.
