About this event
Join author and illustrator David Oates at Lowestoft Library and learn how to create your own unique comic book! This is part of O Projeto Página em Branco which offers high-quality creative workshops for 10-16 year olds during the school holidays.
Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include lunch, drinks and snacks! Book this workshop on Eequ.
Comic workshops are in high demand at the moment as the market for comic books and graphic novels blooms. In this workshop David will guide you through the process he follows when creating a new comic, from selecting the correct moments and frames, storyboarding and panels.
By the end of the session learners will have a better understanding of how comics are created from start to finish, you will create a short 8 panel sequence and discuss ways to move your ideas forward.
