Join theatre maker Sian Burford-Thomas at Beccles Library and create your own summer of dreams! This is part of O Projeto Página em Branco which offers high-quality creative workshops for 10-16 year olds during the school holidays.
Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include lunch, drinks and snacks! Book this workshop on Eequ.
Come along to make sense of our abstract dreams through theatre, stories and craft! We’ll gather our dreams into a big melting pot with which to create some brilliantly abstract stories. We’ll bring these to life through building craft based worlds and narratives which can be performed live or recorded.
We’ll be using theatre making techniques to get us thinking, but there’ll be no pressure to perform in front of others if you don’t want to. Come and enjoy a collaborative, creative day where your ideas matter!
How to book
Workshops must be booked in advance. You can book online via Eequ. If your booking is made within 72 hours of the workshop, we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Please get in touch with the library location for the workshop to discuss options.
Please note that whilst we welcome all young people, our staff are not specifically SEND trained.
This workshop is for 10-16 year olds only. If you feel your child requires additional support in the form of adult attendance in order to access this workshop, contact us by emailing blankpage@suffolk.gov.uk.

About Sian Burford-Thomas
Sian is a theatre maker and practitioner who works with young people and communities to share stories, explore identity and develop skills. She enjoys working with texts as well as devising original work and places the participants at the centre of the process.
Sian is fascinated by what motivates us as human beings, exploring the catalysts for action and change, and the stories that make us who we are. Sian runs inclusive workshops that encourage laughter, teamwork and a positive shared experience.
