About this event
Join illustrator and storyteller Rose Feather at Stowmarket Library and learn how to bind your own books inspired by folklore! This is part of O Projeto Página em Branco which offers high-quality creative workshops for 10-16 year olds during the school holidays.
Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include lunch, drinks and snacks! Book this workshop on Eequ.
Bungled Up Folklore Book-Making is a day-long workshop includes story-writing, illustration and simple book binding. By the end of the day all the young people will head home with a unique copy of their own hand-sewn bungled up folklore book.
How to book
Workshops must be booked in advance. You can book online via Eequ. If your booking is made within 72 hours of the workshop, we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Please get in touch with the library location for the workshop to discuss options.
Please note that whilst we welcome all young people, our staff are not specifically SEND trained.
This workshop is for 10-16 year olds only. If you feel your child requires additional support in the form of adult attendance in order to access this workshop, contact us by emailing blankpage@suffolk.gov.uk.

About Rose Feather
Rose Feather is an illustrator, storyteller and picture book maker based in Norwich. She is often commissioned to live illustrate at hospitals, theatres and galleries.
Rose is the director of The Telling Stories Press CIC, and makes picture books with people whose voices are less well heard.
