About this event
Join us at Glemsford Village Hall for a live theatre performance of Jekyll & Hyde by Ropetackle Storytellers! Suitable for ages 12+.
Get ready for a gothic thriller as Lawyer Gabriel Utterson is drawn into a sinister case involving blackmail, murder and his close friend, Dr Henry Jekyll!
As he investigates a series of strange encounters and unsettling confessions, Utterson uncovers the dark connection between the celebrated doctor and the monstrous Mr Hyde. But where does the truth really lie?
Tickets are £12 for adults and £8 for 12-16 year olds. Bookings can be made in-person at Glemsford Library or online on Eventbrite.
Award-winning performers Amelia Ace Armande and Joshua Crisp reanimate the classic gothic horror by Robert Louis Stevenson. Morphing seamlessly between the cast of characters, the pair conjure up murder on the misty streets of Victorian London in a delicious blend of original text, sinous physicality and dark humour.
This event has been organised in collaboration with Friends of Glemsford Library (FoGl), Creative Arts East and Arts Council England.
