About this event
Join haberdashery owner and craft-maker Kelly Hammond at Stoke Library and learn how to make your own yarn art! This is part of O Projeto Página em Branco which offers high-quality creative workshops for 10-16 year olds during the school holidays.
Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include lunch, drinks and snacks! Book this workshop on Eequ.
This full-day creative workshop invites participants to explore colour, texture and self-expression through yarn art. Using canvases to create unique textile-inspired artworks using wool. Like painting but with yarn!
The workshop is designed to be accessible to all abilities and encourages creativity, mindfulness and connection. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with different materials, colours and patterns while developing their own individual designs in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Throughout the day, participants will build confidence in their creative practice, share ideas with others and enjoy the process of making. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have completed a finished yarn art piece to take home.
