Southwold Literary Festival will be returning for its third year this November at Southwold Arts Centre with a brand-new line up of authors from a variety of genres.

Inspired by the success of the Slaughter in Southwold crime and thriller festival, the Southwold Literary Festival was first launched in November 2023 as a partnership between Southwold Library, Southwold Arts Centre and Southwold Books.

The 2025 Festival features an amazing mix of fiction and non-fiction authors speaking about a fascinating range of subjects.

Charlotte Clark, Southwold Library’s manager, says:

“We’re excited to have pulled together another varied programme of fiction and non-fiction authors covering everything from hedges to Cardinal Wolsey, grief to humorous dystopias and Monty Python to Auschwitz. There is something for everyone and we have been heartened to see how many people actually enjoy coming to a full day or even the whole weekend!”

Individual tickets are £7 per talk. Saturday tickets are available for £30, Sunday tickets for £18, or book a weekend ticket for £55 to see all nine authors. (Price excludes booking fees).

Tickets can be booked at Southwold Library, either in-person or by calling 01502 442817. Tickets can also be booked online on TicketSource or from the links below.
