Having an idea for a novel is a good starting point, but nurturing that idea to a full manuscript and then on to publication is hard work. Hear how the journey was for debut local writer Dennis A Roberts and how his historical novel Norfolk Boy made it to the bookshelves.
Dennis A Roberts lives in Suffolk. Inspired by an entry he read in the penal colony records of Port Arthur, Tasmania, Norfolk Boy is his first novel. Previous writing credits include short stories in the Suffolk Libraries Anthology, as well as an article in Norfolk/Suffolk Life magazine.
