About this event
In collaboration with Heritage Open Days, come and join us for at Halesworth Library for a medieval paint making craft with artist Meraylah Allwood! We will be hosting two sessions - 10:00 to 12:00, and 14:00 to 16:00.
Booking is encouraged. This event is free to attend but spaces are limited. Speak with a member of staff or contact the library on 01986 506062 to secure your place.
About Meraylah Allwood:
Meraylah Allwood is an artist and illustrator, and has work published in many books around the world. Her miniature paintings have been exhibited with the Royal Miniature Society and the Hilliard Society, and her artwork is collected and loved by many. She also worked as a librarian for many years and runs creative workshops for adults and children in the community.
For several years, Meraylah took part in Kentwell Hall's living history project - a recreation of Tudor life, and there learned many of the skills to be shared in this workshop.
This event has been kindly funded by the Friends of Halesworth Library.
