Join special-effects makeup artist Lorna-Jane Garside at Felixstowe Library and learn how to create your own gory special effects makeup looks! This is part of Proiectul Blank Page care oferă ateliere creative de înaltă calitate pentru tinerii între 10 și 16 ani în timpul vacanțelor școlare.
Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include lunch, drinks and snacks! Book this workshop on Eequ.
Participants will learn how to create the gory looks they’ve seen on stage and screen. You’ll be making your own stage blood, creating latex prosthetics, and learning how to apply cuts and bruises. We’ll build the weirdest and most creative story we can think of and design the special effects to go along with it!
We’ll be exploring character development, coming up with the most creative, off the wall fantasy characters and designing their look. We’ll use professional standard SFX makeup to recreate our designs, bringing our characters to life!

Workshops must be booked in advance. You can book online via Eequ. If your booking is made within 72 hours of the workshop, we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Please get in touch with the library location for the workshop to discuss options.
Please note that whilst we welcome all young people, our staff are not specifically SEND trained.

Despre Lorna-Jane Garside
Lorna-Jane Garside este o practiciană de artă și actriță stabilită în Ipswich, cu o vastă cunoaștere atât în teatru, cât și în film.
