Henry’s review:

Bearing an unmistakeable style to any who’ve seen a piece of Troma Entertainment, Kanopy hosts a (un)healthy collection of Troma’s love-em-or-despise-em horror comedies, all completely free with your library card.

A personal favourite is 1996’s Tromeo & Juliet; with a screenplay by James Gunn and a choice cameo by Motorhead’s Lemmy as the narrator, it brilliantly smashes Troma’s trademark shock-schlock style into Shakespeare’s ubiquitous romance to produce something altogether committedly bizarre and provocatively boundary-pushing.

Often taking the question of taste into unchartered (and lowbrow) territory, whether laughing or wincing, you’re at least certain to not be bored.
